Diyaluma Falls
Koslanda (Uva), Sri Lanka
  • Natural Pool

Considered one of the most beautiful in Sri Lanka, the Diyaluma waterfall, 220 meters high, is located at an altitude of 694 m above sea level and is formed by the waters of the Poonagala Oya River.
It is said that a Sinhalese king fell in love with a girl of humble origins, sparking the discontent of his subjects and forcing the two lovers to flee to the top of the mountain. The girl, however, fell and died and the king, desperate, began to cry, thus generating the waterfall and the natural pools.
